Chanel Macarons

If you could paint the air with colors made with sweet macarons, which one would you choose?

Light green? Lily purple? Candy rose? Or sky blue?

Now take that color and mix it with the summer wind, the fragrant light of a july morning, the feeling of walking on the grass barefooted and the sweetness of a wet kiss on your cheek under the summer rain.

That’s the recipe to obtain the new Chanel colors that, from the soft and chicky Marie Antoinette’s flavor on the Versailles’ catwalk, arrive to these modern, vibrant, tasty and revolutionary shades!

Purple, green, yellow, blue…. Are these colors becoming the new Chanel black?
We are not able to know that, but I’m deeply convinced that Coco would be happy to say that:

It is the unseen, unforgettable, ultimante accessory of fashion that heralds your arrival and prolongs your departure.

From the Vie en Rose to Les Plaisirs de l’Isle Enchanté.

Yes girls, we’re talking about Her, the woman who transformed the world of fashion-conscious women once and for all!

In 1910 Mademoiselle Gabrielle “Coco” Bonheur Chanel opened her first small retail business at 31 Rue Cambon, in Paris’ 1st arrondissement, where she mainly sold hats and bonnets.

By the 1920’s She had already invented some iconic fashion items such as “the little black dress”, a perfume that is arguably the most famous to date, elegant slacks and the rather boxy woollen Chanel suit, short hair for women and even managed to popularised the classy string of pearls.

She strongly promoted the freedom of women’s fashion, since she had always fervently believed that “The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud”. It’s no wonder she became a legend!

Today “Chanel Cruise 2012/13” brings us back in time to the Versailles Gardens, with elegance of Marie Antoinette’s style immersed in a baroque atmosphere, and then brings us right back again to a fresh buffet of fruit & vegetables and petite coloured Ladurée macaron. What we actually get and what we dream of is the perfect synthesis of modernist thought, very practical yet with a somewhat timeless design, ever in the pursuit of expensive simplicity.

Ok, it’s like something out of a magical fairy tale, but Summer is here and this is exactly the new inspiring cool mood you’ve been waiting for!

And always keep this in mind, “There is a time for work, and a time for love. Which leaves us with no spare time.” and Summer is the time for Love!

Pssst… I was walking by the Ladurée boutique in Milan when I laid my eyes on those neat and infinite rows of little multi-coloured almond meringues, and I really couldn’t resist the temptation of their sweetness and delightfulness!

“La mode se démode, le style jamais!”

Wherever you are, this means sophistication, style, elegance… this is the Chanel ladie!
Like its tradition, Mr Lagherfield have presented an extraordinary collection, secret wish of every women! Talking about Chanel without speaking about her…. The fabulous Coco it’s a non sense.
For her Fashion wasn’t something existing in dresses only, but something that you can find everywhere you see beauty: “Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”
Chanel designers are striving for presenting a fabulous and timeless fashion but they never forget about the comfort because as you know, ladies luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury!
So ladies to be an authentic Chanel’s girls, you should be two things: classy and fabulous… word of Coco, bien sure!

Wow girls!!!! This is incredible!!! I love your clothes and all of that!
